Scars Publications and the fantastically prolific editor Janet Kuypers have seen fit to publish my short story “The Midwest”. She herself is from the Midwest, I’ve only been there for brief visits. If you read the story about a young woman’s experiences with sexism—primarily from women—in the Midwest, it will really make you think. I thought my submission to this Midwesterner was a gamble; she’d either relate or be offended. Apparently she related. The link is here: Scars Publications.
Hello and welcome to my site. I am from Oregon (north of California) and live in Ireland. There's more about me on the last page of this site. My books are covered, by genre, in pages in between. I don't post often, but when I do it's relevant. Subscribe to get updates.

Presently my focus with writing is on creating some nonfiction pieces to immortalize my experience of being a Teacher of English to speakers of other languages, so I'm reading nonfiction at the moment. Here are some absolutely great publications of nonfiction (and other genres.) Please enjoy -- and support independent zines!
